This poster is a great reminder that we need to think positively to be successful when completing out Mathematics work.
We’ve been working hard to make some changes to our Home Learning blog these last couple of weeks. You will notice that the tabs have changed under each grade level to help us focus on our number facts.
Some people have requested some worksheets and printable activities instead of just online games. We are starting to add some of these to our blog now. This is still a work in progress and we will continue to keep adding these printables.
Have a look at the new resources and let us know what you think!

Family Maths Night will be on again soon!
There will be some exciting changes coming to Maths Home Learning at St Charles Borromeo this year. Look out for information about our Family Maths Night in Term 2. This night will give you more information on how you can support your child in their Maths learning this year.
We’ve made an exciting new addition to our blog!
Please have a look at the Year 3 and Year 4 Number and Algebra Pages. We have added some videos explaining addition and subtraction strategies the way they are taught at school. Please feel free to have a look and give some feedback. If these are useful, we can start adding more videos to other areas of the blog.
A special thanks to Nathan Jones for sharing this fantastic resource that has allowed us to record ourselves explaining strategies as we would at school.
